Killarney today was awesome with that little bit of new snow, some grooming. Sad to see the rain coming tomorrow. Some snow right after would be great!
The grooming at Killarney has been fantastic for the past few days! We could use a bit more snow but each trail has been looked after pretty regularly which has made for some very good skiing! Looks like the perfect balance of grooming the challenging hilly stuff (2,3,4,5) as well as the gradual long cruises (6,7,8). Very much appreciated!
Went for a skate ski and was surprised just how good the conditions were on the trails they groomed today. A big improvement from the past few days. I am still puzzled as to the priority of trails they groom because it seems to me the primary trails should get the attention first and the outer racing trails second when the snow is scarce. Regardless, good job on some of the trails. FYI, no tracks set.
Sunday: late morning ski -> very very hard packed, no tracks that I could find , heavy equipment rut on trails, sun just coming out that may soften conditions this afternoon.
