MASTERS SKI GROUP

The Wostawea Master’s Group brings together adults who know how to ski and want to improve their technique and fitness with like-minded others – and perhaps enter one or more races or loppets.

This season we will offer a weekly technique session and group ski, Thursdays 4:30-6:00 pm at Killarney (with provision for latecomers up to 4:45 pm), from early January to mid-March, as well as occasional group skis at Killarney or the Woodlot on weekends and/or weekday evenings. We’ll alternate between skate and classic skiing, and you can come to as many or as few sessions as you wish. We also plan on a couple of ski-specific dryland activities on upcoming Sundays.

The fee to join this group is $50 and is open to any club member 30 or older who has a foundation of ski technique (not a beginner), has their own gear, and is up for a challenge. Those who can do both skate and classic will get the most from the group, but it’s not required, and we welcome classic-only and skate-only skiers.

Those expecting to learn a new technique, or who are new to skiing entirely, are advised to do that through the adult classic lessons or skate ski clinics.
