No doubt about it, we need more snow! Keep doing those snow dances, and check here for updates about conditions on the trails.

  • We skied in from Lian/Brianna Tue before noon and except for the mentioned intersection at the connector/Kent Rd (yellow tape where the rocks start) it was better than expected. Did the entire big loop and Beaver Pond and a few exposed rocks in the right places. Does not look good for the rest of the week.

  • I also skied in from Radisson and getting up to the Woodlot was the worst part. Once in the Woodlot, the skiing was actually “OK”. I skied on worse and hopefully, it will be better very soon. However, I will be going tomorrow so it can’t be that bad!

  • Skate skied in from the Radisson and, all things considered, snow coverage and skiing conditions were good. We did not use the golf cart path to access the Highway Trail; instead, we stayed to the right just before the cart path section, just follow the ski tracks.

  • Trails were all rolled today. If you find a way in the Woodlot is reasonably good. Be very careful at the Lian/Kent intersection. Snow is thin over rocks.
