Please Note:

1. Register early so that we have a sense of numbers and can order the right quantity of warm lunches for the loppet.

2. On Sunday, all trails, including 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7, will be used for the loppet ski event all day until 4pm. We encourage all other park users to use Lakeside trail or use alternate trails during this time period.

3. Parking at KLP will be very busy the entire weekend. When the main parking lot becomes full, please use the parking at the lake located just beyond the main Killarney entrance and a short walk from the main lodge.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SKIING WITH YOU THIS WEEKEND!

🌟 UPDATE RE: WEEKEND GROOMING 🌟

We’re pleased to report that City groomers are planning to go out in the morning to roll the trails and the stadiums so that kids lessons, adult lessons, and the skate ski clinic can take place.

They don’t expect to groom all trails and what they do will depend on weather and trail conditions at the time.

The present plan is to also go out on Sunday to groom and set tracks using the ginzu as the trails should have firmed up by Sunday.

Thank you to the City groomers for helping Wostawea launch our lessons and clinic this weekend!

GROOMING PLANS: THURSDAY, FRIDAY and WEEKEND

Today’s afternoon message from groomers confirms that:

Groomers will be grooming for 2-3 hours tomorrow and will do so again on Friday providing conditions are favourable. We understand they  will be grooming E and 1 and will not be setting tracks.

Based on the weather forecast, they will not be grooming on Saturday or Sunday.

Thanks for sharing your comments here so other skiers can plan their spring skiing outings.
